There are serveral ways you may be able to help the LMS Carriage Association with its charitable aims.
- Become a member
- Volunteer some of your time:
- Carriage Restoration — skills may include:
- Bodywork
- Metalwork
- Painting
- Plumbing
- Surface preparation
- Upholstering
- Welding
- Wiring
- Woodwork
- and other skills highlighted on our carriage preservation pages.
- Or you may think of something we have not listed here. We would still be interested to hear from you.
- Design of future facilities
- Organisation / Project Management
- Research
- Contribute researched material for publication in our newsletter The Droplight, or for publication on the LMSCA Website.
- Finding engineering drawings to aid carriage restoration
- Seeking potential sources of funding
- Carriage Restoration — skills may include:
- Make a donation of:
- Money — we are able to accept donations by cheque in the post to our correspondence address, or you may wish to donate in person at our carriage shed and workshop. If you intend to visit please contact us first to ensure that someone will be about.
- Railway books for sale in our Visitor Room.
